Summary

I received my M.S. and Ph.D. in Telecommunication Engineering from the Universitat Politecnica de Valencia (UPV), Spain, in 2002 and 2008 respectively. In 2009, I received an Extraordinary Doctorate Award from UPV. Since 2008 I have been at the University of Alcala (UAH), Spain, where I am currently an Associate Professor at the Networks and Intelligent Systems research group (NetIS). I am engaged in research and teaching in the areas of analysis and performance evaluation of wireless networks and optimization of complex networked systems. I have published more than 30 technical papers in these areas in international journals and conference proceedings and acts regularly as a reviewer for refereed journals and conferences and also I am associate editor of the Wireless Networks journal and have served as guest editor for several special issues in refereed journals.
